WinniTroll Logo3

The 3.00 casting spoon will allow you to cast to rising or surfacing fish during your troll - perfect for those that want some casting action when fishing is slow.   When sudden bait pods are seen or you are scouting for fish, this spoon allows you to drop and jig or cast, sink and retrieve to provide a vertical movement which often will entice strikes.   For the occasional troller, this spoon offers the same action as the trolling spoons, but allows this to be done with traditional spinning rods with mono filament line.   The depth may not be as precise as fishing with down riggers or lead core, but it offers a way to attain depth while trolling slowly.   Remove the treble hook and attach a leader  a fly, and you have a effective dodger rig

Brief Description

The 3.00 inch Casting Spoon offers unprecedented versatility.  It can be cast during trolling outward from the boat to rising fish.  It can also be used to jig or to drop if there is a sudden large bait pod spotted.  This spoon allows you to vertically patrol the water column instantly.  A perfect spoon to have rigged on a casting rod.

Extended Description

We have developed the casting spoon as a heavier spoon with the same Winni-Troll™ colors as our trolling spoons.   Each nickel plated brass spoon is hand taped with VMC treble hooks, stainless steel split rings and a prism eye.   This is an excellent spoon for all baitfish.   We are offering a complete set at a discounted price.
