Downrigger
There is no better way to fish at a controlled depth than a downrigger. One key issue we find with a downriggeris how to mount it as mounts can be costly above the cost of the downrigger. Electric downriggers are quite effective while manual downriggers require a lot of elbow grease.
The trick in fishing with downriggers comes with use of line releases. With experience you will quickly migrate to the releases that work best for you.
