The following excerpt is from Jim Graves of Jim’s Lures
“My experience: I have fished many years with rod pumpers. Some of my experience with it has inspired my fishing. I average eight to ten fish a trip using the following flies and lures: Thomas Buoyant Minnows, Grey Ghost, Green Ghost, Wood Special, and various wet fly streamers (To many to name). I have taken many people fishing. Their experience with the rod pumper is awesome. They want to know where I got it. Then I say, "I made it because I got lazy and didn't want to jig by hand anymore."
So over the last five years I've sold over 80 units of Jim’s Rod Pumper (Jigomatic). The people who have bought my rod pumper love them. I have had no complaints on them at all. I give a limited life time guarantee on the unit. I will fix and repair any unit as long as I am living.”
We also have first hand experience with a line puller from Jason Parent of Paugus Bay Sporting Goods in Laconia. Using a release, you clip the line in and with some slack put the rod in the rod holder. When a fish takes it, the line releases.
Both products are used in our boat and we enjoy having these “fishing robots” on board. We appreciate the unique innovation from these American Inventors.
