Lead Core
There is a reason why lead core is prohibited in some trout ponds. With the right knowledge, lead core will achieve very high catch rates. When trolling, lead core will allow you to control the depth you are fishing. This is excellent for fishing big water such as lakes and large ponds.
Lead core line can be used with planer boards and jigging boxes. Using level wind and fly reels coupled with medium light rods, a lead core outfit is a must for any boat fisherman. Lead core can also be used effectively while fishing rivers from bridges.
