Peril Smelt™

The 2.50 inch Peril Smelt™ is another concept fly that was developed to work as a down rigger fly in concert with an Action Disc or behind a dodger. In addition to this use, we have also enjoyed using this fly for bass on a float-n-fly rig. It also has merit in saltwater as well. The contrasting flash in this fly finally offers spinner-bait type results when fly fishing for Largemouth bass too. However, our favorite use is trolling for landlocked salmon on a jigging box. The takes are from quality fish and they are solid.
