School O'Smelt™ Troll

The School O'Smelt™ downrigger troll was developed in an effort to mask the sonic signature of the downrigger weight into the trailing edge of a bait fish pod. We feel this product is quite successful at that. We continue to see fish caught closer and closer to the weight when using the School O'Smelt™. We offer them in the Winni-Troll™ colors and love how they do not ride upward when trolled even at 4 MPH. This is critical as tangled lines seem to be what we see with other types of flashers or trolls. Each School O'Smelt™ troll has been engineered using blade vortex mathematics to reduce the sonic signature as you move to the end. Each troll comes in a zippered plastic bag for easy storage after it is dried. Each troll has a loop end to accept other modular downrigger products.
