Color Red Gold
RED / GOLD - This combination covers most oranges, reds, and gold, but the stark contrast in colors will over a dark / light combination at several lighting and depth variations.

Color Aqua Glow
AQUA / GLOW - This is the “Match The Hatch” color for a smelt.   The glow will appear white in during the day and will offer a green luminescence during early morning and evening.   This is a great producer over 35 ft of depth as well.

Color Pink Silver
PINK / SILVER - Perhaps our favorite - there is something about pink and shiny that seems to catch fish.   This color combination is quite popular and is very deserving in your tackle arsenal.

Color Chart Glow
CHARTREUSE / GLOW - For any water that is stained, Chartreuse is probably the best color to use.   Altantic Salmon, Bass and Striper fisherman know that Chartruese is a go to color.   We have coupled this with the White/Pearl/Pink Glow color which provides contrast.    We like this color a lot.

Color Purple Orange
PURPLE / ORANGE - This is a tremendously effective color.  The purple offers a dark back while the orange belly provides the contrast to catch fish.   We find this is a great color when nothing else is working.   A must have for all fisherman.

fuzzy bass
FUZZY / YELLOW - A perfect color for imitating perch fry, either white or yellow, along with baby bass.  A very effective color worthy of being added to the Winni-Troll™ lineup.

sexy
SEXY SMELT -  This color is off the chart of the visible spectrum.  It is truly remarkable.  You have to see it to believe it.

Comment:  The glow-in-the-dark tape is offered on spoons and trolls and will glow for hours after charging - we recommend a bright LED flashlight for about 20-30 seconds.

We at Chappy’s Guide™ work to improve your fishing results wherever possible while trying to reduce frustration, your costs, and your down time on the water.   Colors are a very important part of fishing, in that most fish are caught using their primary sense sight.  Unfortunately, colors also catch the fisherman which lead to many different purchases and most importantly a lack of confidence while fishing, especially when catching is slow.  This results to constant changing of the lures you are using and also leads to sentimental favorites - such as I caught a fish on this lure but I just lost it...   Once you lose confidence in your lure, we see that this leads to poor attention while on the water - wondering about what you don’t have.   Lucky for us, the same does not apply for fish.

If fish are active and your present your lure perfectly, color really doesn’t mean too much.  But when fish are less active, then sight can play a great differentiator only if you offer a lure they can see.   This is where day lighting, water turbidity, and water depth come into play.   Colors have different wavelengths of light which affect what the fish sees.  In addition, contrasting colors will also play a role in what the fish sees and will trigger a response.

Our Winni-Troll™ family of products are color coded into 7 very effective colors which we use exclusively.  Our results have shown less worrying about having the right color and instead focus our efforts on the right depth, the right locations, and the right presentations.   Of which these are all more critical in catching fish than color.
